MB Tuner – Privacy Policy

MB Tuner is a chromatic tuner for iOS and Android. We designed it to be as privacy-preserving as possible.

What we collect

Nothing. MB Tuner does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, usage analytics, device identifiers, or audio recordings. There is no account, no login, and no network activity tied to your use of the app.

Microphone access

MB Tuner needs access to the microphone so it can analyze the sound of the instrument you are tuning. Audio is processed in real time, entirely on your device, and is never recorded to storage nor transmitted to any server. When you leave the app or stop tuning, the audio session is closed immediately.

Local settings storage

Your A reference (440–445 Hz) and theme preference are saved on your device using the operating system’s standard application storage so they persist between launches. This data never leaves your device.

Third parties

MB Tuner does not embed third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Children

MB Tuner does not collect any information and is suitable for all ages.

Changes

If this policy ever changes materially, we will update the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, surface a notice in the app.
